Dr. Katherine Johnson
‘Hidden Figure’ Dr. Katherine Johnson was born on this day in 1918. Dr. Johnson was a scientist who worked for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at a time when Black people, especially Black women, were underrepresented among the scientific community.
